Inspired Gifts is an innovative program that gives you the opportunity to purchase actual lifesaving items that will be shipped directly from either the UNICEF warehouse in Copenhagen or one of UNICEF's many suppliers to one of 150 countries and territories where UNICEF works. While other organizations allow supporters to purchase ‘symbolic’ gifts, Inspired Gifts are ACTUAL items like Immunizations, Mosquito Nets, Water Pumps, Therapeutic Milk, even School-in-a-Box kits. In a world where everyday 17,000 children die from preventable causes, Inspired Gifts can make an immediate and dramatic difference in the life of a child threatened by malnutrition, disease, unclean water, lack of shelter, basic immunizations and basic medicines.
We send the actual products displayed on the website. For example, if you purchase Mosquito Nets, we deliver Mosquito Nets. However, Inspired Gifts respond to the real and changing needs of children around the world, so there may occasionally be a case where the item you selected may be substituted for another because there is a greater need for it. Wherever possible, we will keep that substitution within the same category – for example, a gift of Measles Vaccines may be substituted for Polio Vaccines. We hope that through your purchase you are trusting us to make the best use of your gift to help children who need it right now.

Our paper cards are printed with a standard message that includes the gifts purchased. You may personalize your card with a brief message. Our eCards, however, can be personalized with any text you wish to add.
Paper gift cards will be delivered within 5-10 business days from the date of your online order. Paper gift cards are sent out using United States Postal Service first class mail.
The deadline for placing an order for a paper card for December 25 this year is midnight, December 12, 2014. For orders after December 12, 2014 please select an eCard or printable card option.
Our Inspired Gifts cannot be designated to any specific emergency, country or region. All Inspired Gifts purchases are sent to where they are needed most.
Yes. You will receive both an on-screen confirmation and email acknowledgement of your gift to use as your tax receipt.
Yes, you can send multiple items to multiple postal addresses. Please note, cards are only mailed within the United States.
